Chhalia

"Chhalia" is a Bollywood movie that was released in 1973. The film was directed by Mukul Dutt and starred Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, and Rekha in lead roles.

The story revolves around Chhalia, played by Dharmendra, who is a petty thief and conman. He falls in love with a wealthy heiress named Shanti, played by Rekha, but their love is forbidden by Shanti's father who wants her to marry a man from a wealthy family.

In order to win her father's approval, Chhalia pretends to be a wealthy businessman and tries to impress Shanti's father. However, things take a turn when Chhalia's past catches up with him and he is accused of a murder he did not commit.

The rest of the movie follows Chhalia as he tries to clear his name and win back Shanti's love while also battling his inner demons and trying to leave his life of crime behind.
