Roti

"Roti" is a Bollywood movie from 1974 directed by Manmohan Desai. The film stars Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, and Nirupa Roy in lead roles.

The movie tells the story of a young man named Mangal (Rajesh Khanna) who is struggling to make ends meet. He falls in love with a wealthy heiress named Anju (Mumtaz), but her father disapproves of their relationship because of Mangal's poverty.

Desperate to prove himself to Anju's father, Mangal turns to a life of crime and becomes a notorious gangster. However, his criminal activities put a strain on his relationship with Anju and he must decide whether to continue down the path of crime or return to a more honest way of life.

"Roti" was a commercial success and is remembered for its iconic songs, including "Gore Rang Pe Na Itna" and "Maine Tere Liye Hi Saat Rang Ke Sapne Chune".
