Initially, a part of the band called the Rattlesnakes they were supposed to lip sync at a concert but when their recorded music broke. They had to sing live which was very well received, and thus they decided to pursue a career in music. Since they performed to get pocket money and were introduced to a local radio jockey who called them the BGs. They entered England because they felt that they weren’t successful in Australia. In 1975 they went disco and Saturday Night Fever came out which catapulted them into fame. They won 5 Grammy awards for the movie and soundtracks. They were initially thought of as a knock-off of the Beatles.
From 1979 this is a part of the Spirits tour they were on. They are still recognized as pioneers of their time and their music remains as fresh and nostalgic as ever.
