MUSIC CONCERTS

Elvis Presley

The King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley ever since he was a child had been crazy about music. He went to record with Memphis recording service and did not find much luck. Sam Phillips the founder of sun records made sure Elvis got to record some songs and paired him with Winfield Moore and Bill Black. After a long time of fruitless recording, they finally were able to record a 1946 blues song which was a hit amongst the audience. He rose to fame with his old cover songs performing at clubs with his two members who left their band to play with him. Becoming quickly popular and was later cast on national television in the Ed Sullivan Show which catapulted him into international stardom. He was also acting at the time starring in films like Love me tender, Loving You, and Jailhouse Rock. Drafted into the military as an ordinary soldier and rose to the rank of sergeant for 2 years Presley was serving in the military meanwhile his manager kept up with his absence in the form of unreleased songs. Even his death became a cesspool of controversy and speculation as he habitually abused medicinal drugs. He died of a heart attack at 42 and his albums were forever immortalized.

The concert here is Elvis’s last ever concert. Recorded in 1977 shortly before his untimely death. Elvis toured extensively despite his deteriorating health in the later years. His dedication to his fans was unsurpassable.
