David Bowie

A man s3econd to none in the music industry David Bowie started his music career at a very young age joining different bands and writing his material. Despite the failure of his first album, the second album became a critical success though not initially. It was his third album The man who sold the world he started touring for, though most of his albums were not very successful. He also started wearing costumes to tours as well as his interviews. His album Aladdin Sane was successful and he toured across the US and Japan to promote the same. In 1973 all of his previous albums as well as the new ones were re-released and started making it to the charts. Diamond Dogs in 1974 was another hit and the subsequent tours plastered Bowie as a superstar. He was not just a musician but also an actor having starred in 30 movies throughout his career.

The concert here is from 12 December 1978 in Tokyo while he was touring to promote Heroes. He was well-established as a superstar at this time and was celebrated as a musical genius.
