MUSIC CONCERTS

Japan

Formed by a group of school friends, Japan was a temporary name that was going to be changed but became permanent. Their Debut album Adolescent sex was unsuccessful in The UK and Europe it was well received well by fans in the US but sold poorly. They became very popular in Japan where their concerts were also sold out for 3 days straight. It was not until their third album that they received significant success. Their band was short-lived and did not achieve much attention but it has reami8ned as one of the most influential early synthwave music bands in the 80s. Even after their split, they reunited in September of 1989 under the name of Rain Tree Crow and released an album of the same name which was well-received very well by fans and critics alike. Though after the album’s release they decided to split up again due to conflicts among the members.

They performed live in 1982 in Hammersmith Odeon in London. They performed songs from their last-ever album together before splitting. It was received well by fans as well as critics.
