Guns N Roses

Formed in 1985 this band is known to be the pioneer of hard rock music. Their Debut album Appetite for Destruction was released in 1987 and was a hit immediately. It charted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. They embarked on a heavy 16-month-long tour to promote their album. Their second album G ’N R Lies was also a hit charting at number 2 on the Billboard 200. They then released 2 albums of live recordings called Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Both of these charted at number 1 and 2 on the Billboard 200. They toured for another 18 months to promote their albums. Their next album The Spaghetti Incident was their worst to date as it had a song written by Charles Manson. By the time the next album Chinese Democracy was not released and most of the band members either resigned or were fired by Axl Rose. The band is still together and is producing music for the world to listen to.

The concert here is from the Live at the Ritz tour in 1988. The chaos in this concert is well remembered by the audience3 and encapsulates the chaos of the band.
