Motley Crue

Naming themselves after being called a motley-looking crew by a spectator. This band released its debut album called Too Fast For Love. This was published by their independent record label called Leathur records. They went to tour in Canada and caused several PR stunts to garner attention. They were banned for life from Edmonton. Their second album Shout at the Devil came out in 1983 and garnered success as they gained fame by playing in the US festival and due to MTV. After the death of drummer Nicholas Razzle Dingley in a car accident, the band mourned his loss and released Theatre of Pain. They toured heavily to promote the same. Their next album Girls, Girls, Girls, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200. They toured to promote the same and kept getting in trouble much like their previous shenanigans. They were then given Rehabilitation for their growing drug addictions. After sobriety, they released Dr. Feelgood which charted at the top of the charts. This has been regarded as the band’s best music at the time. They continued to produce more albums some of which failed as tensions arose within the band but they are still active and have upcoming albums as well as concerts.
