A big wolf attacks David and Jack, two college students from the United States, as they are backpacking through Britain. Jack is ruthlessly killed, but David escapes with a bite. David is tormented by horrific nightmares of his dismembered companion, who tells David that he is turning into a werewolf as he recovers in the hospital. After learning the shocking truth, David muses contemplating killing himself before the next full moon turns him into a violent beast.
