A young waitress from Saskatchewan named Sally Matthews works at an oyster bar in an Atlantic City casino. She aspires to work as a blackjack dealer, receiving instruction from Joseph while doing so. Frenchman Joseph advises her to pick up the language and work as a dealer in Monte Carlo.
