While on vacation in Atlantic City, New Jersey as kids, Hillary and CC become friends and stay that way over the years. While Hillary, a quiet Californian, succeeds as a lawyer, CC, a boisterous New Yorker, pursues a singing career. The two ladies frequently argue or compete over the years, yet they always support one another, going from coast to coast during the most trying periods as other relationships grow and fade.
