American Jesse encounters Celine, a student heading back to Paris, while travelling to Vienna. Jesse convinces Celine to get off the train with him in Vienna after their lengthy conversations create a startling bond between them. They tour the city together, taking in the sights and sounds of Vienna and each other since he has no money for lodging and his trip to the U.S. leaves the next morning. Their bond becomes stronger throughout the night, making it challenging to decide to part ways in the morning.
