This devastating war satire centers on Capt. John Yossarian, a WWII bombing mission pilot stationed in the Mediterranean. Yossarian tries to escape his wartime reality while attempting to deal with the lunacy of armed conflict. Yossarian is surrounded by odd military personnel, including the opportunistic 1st Lt. Milo Minderbinder, and must take drastic lengths to get out of his precarious and absurdly hilarious circumstances.
