On his day off, Dante is asked to fill in for a shift at his New Jersey convenience shop. Randal, a buddy of his, helps him pass the time by ignoring the people in the video store next door in order to hang out in the Quick Stop. The news that one of Dante's ex - girlfriends has passed away disturbs the otherwise boring day. Dante ponders whether to stay with his present girlfriend Veronica or get back together with Caitlin after attending her memorial ceremony.
