A deadly Comet is hurling toward Earth which could endanger all human life. Since The US Government does not want this information to get out they try and keep it under wraps. But a reporter Jenny Lerner learns this secret information which ultimately forces the president of the US to reveal his secret plan. They would send Spurgeon ‘Fish’ Tanner and his team on the comet to plant bombs and explode the comet before it hits the earth. If they do not succeed Earth and Humanity will perish.
