Driving Miss Daisy

The elderly Jewish widow Daisy Werthan, who resides in Atlanta, is adamant about keeping her independence. Her son Boolie, however, arranges for her to have a chauffeur after she crashes her automobile, an African - American driver by the name of Hoke Colburn. Although Daisy and Hoke's relationship had a difficult beginning, they eventually develop a strong bond that transcends social mores and racial prejudices.
