An FBI agent Sean Archer has sworn to catch and seek justice against Castor Troy since he killed Archer’s son Michael. After he tracks down Troy who is on a flight in Los Angeles, the flight crashes gravely injuring Troy. Sean also learns of a bomb planted somewhere in Los Angeles but is not able to get the location. Troy is taken to a hospital in a comatose state; Meanwhile Archer decides to undergo surgery that swaps his face with Troy in hopes of learning more information from his accomplice Pollux. During this Troy too wakes up and Since he does not have a face anymore he takes on Archer's face. Will the real archer diffuse the bomb on time in this confusion?
