When Chelsea Deardon is detained for allegedly stealing a piece of art that her late father had painted, compassionate lawyer Laura Kelly sets out to defend the minor against cunning prosecutor Tom Logan. Tom eventually falls in love with Laura after having several intimate encounters with her and joins forces with her to assist Chelsea to have the charges dropped. But when the attorneys delve more into the case, events take a surprising turn, putting Tom's career in danger.
