A most unusual witness — her talking newborn, Mikey — observes cynically the romantic ups and downs of accountant Mollie Jensen. She had an affair with married guy Albert that results in her being pregnant. After learning that Albert is a liar, she relies on taxi driver James' friendship. Despite the fact that Mikey adores James and James takes good care of the baby and Mollie, she is unsure whether she can find true love with a working - class man.
