Unemployed artist Jonathan Switcher lands a job as a department store's assistant window dresser. A stunning mannequin that Jonathan had previously created comes to life when he comes across her and announces herself as Emmy, an Egyptian under an old enchantment. Jonathan and his mannequin fall in love while designing eye - catching window displays to keep the faltering store in business, despite meddling from the cunning management of the company.
