Olivia Lawrence, an heiress to her recently deceased mother's substantial money, frequents the affluent Hamptons social scene. Olivia falls in love with Tim Whalen, a charming boat captain who doesn't seem to care about her money. But the cunning Tim is working with Mike McGill, an old buddy, and Olivia's stepfather Tony Gateworth to do something evil against the unknowing heiress.
