In this informal adaptation of "Henry IV" by William Shakespeare, Mike Waters is a gay hustler who suffers from narcolepsy. The mayor's son who acts out of control is Scott Favor. The two travel from Portland, Oregon, across Idaho, and finally to the Italian coast in an effort to find Mike's estranged mother. They are ultimately noticed by a sexual offender and a wealthy benefactor while pulling roadside pranks for cash and drugs.
