In an effort to create the perfect family Christmas as the holidays draw near, Clark Griswold nags his wife Ellen and kids while checking that everything—including the tree and house decorations—is in order. But immediately, things start to go wrong. On the Griswold property, his redneck cousin Eddie and his family move in unexpectedly and begin living in a camper. Even worse, Clark's employers fail to pay him the necessary holiday bonus.
