Grizzled FBI agent Warren Stantin pursues a bold killer to the isolated Pacific Northwest after he escapes with a stash of stolen gems from a deadly diamond thief. When Stantin learns that the fugitive has Sarah, a local tour guide, as a hostage, he enlists Jonathan, Sarah's lover, to escort him through the wilderness. Now, Stantin and Jonathan are in a race against time to apprehend the burglar before he enters Canada.
