Skip Robinson leads his family out of the Los Angeles concrete jungle, followed by his wife Pat, son Toby, and daughter Jenny. Skip constructs a log cabin at the location of their new home in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, and the kids make friends with wild creatures. The adventurous Robinsons learn that every day in the bush holds a new adventure as they simplify their lives for themselves off the grid.
