Weronika, a young Polish woman with a similar job aspiration to Veronique and a similar appearance, is not linked to Veronique but is a stunning young French woman who dreams of being a famous singer. Veronique begins an unconventional romance with puppeteer Alexandre Fabbri, who might be able to help her with her existential problems. The movie follows both ladies as they deal with the ups and downs of their separate lives.
