This horror story centers on guests who have been invited by Dr. David Marrow to the remote mansion of Hill House as part of a research on insomnia. Marrow intends to scare the participants, including the shy Nell and the enticing Theo, because he is actually researching fear. Unfortunately, Hill House is actually haunted by a malicious spirit who wants to harm Marrow and everyone else residing there.
