Stanley Ipkiss, a shy bank employee, finds a supernatural mask that possesses the Loki spirit, and it completely transforms his life. Wearing the mask, Ipkiss transforms into a wonderful playboy who exudes charisma and confidence and manages to get the attention of Tina Carlyle, a local nightclub singer. Unfortunately, Ipkiss robs a bank while wearing the mask, infuriating teenage crime boss Dorian Tyrell, who then accuses his thugs of the heist.
