Sam, who is fed up with his rude housemates, shares a flat with Ellen, an aspiring painter, and Brian, a messy soon - to - be husband. Despite never having met, Sam and Ellen fall in love thanks to the romantic notes left during their separate stays in the flat. However, when Sam and Brian switch days without notifying Ellen, it puts their relationship in jeopardy before it ever gets off the ground.
