After winning tickets to the luxury ship the Titanic Jack a homeless artist from Paris is overjoyed as his life would change drastically. On the ship already is Rose Dewitt Bukater an upper-class 17-year-old who is engaged to Caledon Hockley. She is very upset with this affair and does not want to live her life this way. She attempts to commit suicide by jumping off the stern. Jack saves her and introduces her to a world of adventure and stories. Rose falls in love with him and her fiancé is not very happy about this. Rose has a pendant called the Heart of the Ocean which lands jack in trouble after he is accused of stealing it. Rose soon learns that the ship is about to collide with an iceberg. Will she be able to save everyone and free jack?
