After killing a rival in self-defense the violent gangster Chas (James Fox) seeks refuge in the Bohemian home of a former rockstar’s home Turner (Mick Jagger) who lives with female companions Pherber (Anita Pallenberg) and Lucy (Michele Breton). Turner becomes fascinated with Chas’ life as a criminal. The icing on the poison-laced cake is Mick Jagger's "Memo From Turner," which manages to sound obscene without resorting to profanity.
