He started as a radio DJ and made his Broadway debut shortly, winning 6 Tony awards. He became popular on the silver screen and received several awards for his performances. He is also a Grammy winner and has his own Cappella group called “Dick Van Dyke and the Vantastix”. He continues to entertain us with his epic comedy still.

He won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in Bye Bye Birdie. He won a Grammy Award for Best Children's Album for Mary Poppins. Nominated for 10 Primetime Emmy Awards, Van Dyke received four awards for his work on The Dick Van Dyke Show and Van Dyke and Company. He received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.
