While in college she starred in ads for some extra money and was immediately cast into a movie role from there. She also appeared in Top Gun, D.O.A as well as Flesh and Bones. Her final career breakthrough came in the form of Sally in her first romantic comedy movie When Harry met Sally. She has since been called the soul of romantic comedy movies. She has also starred in many serious-themed movies as well as comedies and continues to garner our respect and praise with her acting.
