Mr. Newman has starred in some of the best-made classics and has since been regarded as a masterful actor. He also had an auto racing agency and raced till his early eighties. He was a man of valor and respect and made his big break from Broadway. He died from lung cancer but was commemorated by acting guilds and racing agencies alike.
