Born: August 14, 1945 in Waco, Texas, USA
A comedic genius he received his break from Disneyland, quite literally. He worked at a magic shop in Fantasy Land and learned illusions and magic tricks. He started initially with standup for the silver screen. Other than his acting and comedy routines he is also a Grammy-winning Banjo player. Having a major in Philosophy he often uses absurdist themes in his comedy. He has hinted at his retirement but nothing is official yet.
Awards: Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from California State University Long Beach, Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, Disney Legend award, 30th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, International Bluegrass Music Association's Entertainer of the Year, Academy Honorary Award, AFI Life Achievement Award.
